Does your child love “gaming?”  Then they would love a game that crosses cultures and eras of time!  The Chess Club meets twice a month for students to come together to compete against each other in the classic game of chess. This game has been shown to help kids with math skills, critical thinking skills, strategy, and even test taking skills. More importantly, they have fun while learning the game and making new friends! We have also found that this game helps connect family members. Students often learn the game of chess from parents, grandparents, siblings, other relatives and neighbors!  The Chess Club promotes unplugging, and reconnecting with families and friends.
