Commencement BHS Class of 2025 Celebrated June 1

Commencement for the Spartan Class of 2025 will be held Sunday, June 1 at 2 PM.  Approximately 316 graduating seniors will walk from Boardman High School into Spartan Stadium and be seated on the field for the ceremony. 

Stadium gates will open at 12:45 for guests.  Graduates may bring as many guests as they wish to Spartan Stadium.  Tickets are not required for an outdoor event. 

In case of inclement weather, the ceremony would be moved to the gymnasium. Graduates will receive a limited number of tickets should that occur. The June 2 graduation ceremony will be live streamed at   BSTNtv.com/livestream  

  INFORMATION ABOUT THE BOARDMAN SPARTAN CLASS OF 2025

The Class of 2025 represents all the strengths of Boardman’s three A’s. Academics, Arts, and Athletics have fueled their education.  The class has earned and accepted approximately 4.2 Million dollars in scholarships.

There are 19 “First in Class” students who have completed the prescribed coursework to be honored as first in class. They are:

Matthew Amendol, Matthew Beichner, Sarah Bero, Ashley Boyarko, James Carkido, Dominic Cheff, Petra Crnjak, Michelle Dong, Julianna Douglass, Haley Eynon, Carter Fick-Mills, Ava Freeborough, Marissa Funk, Ashton Hoover, Sarah Land, Nicholas Leskiw, Jake Murray, Eliana Williams, Nina Tran.

Academically, the Class of 2025 is impressive:

• 94 students earned  “Honors Diplomas” for rigorous coursework completed.
• 152  students are  “Honors Graduates” with a 3.5 GPA or above.
• 63 seniors also earned the  President’s Award for Educational Excellence for superior academic achievement in math and reading.
• 14 students currently committed to military service
