Principal's Message

Principal Laura McCreery
Dear BGJHS Families,
It is my sincere pleasure to welcome you to the 2025-2026 school year at Boardman Glenwood Junior High School. We are committed to creating a safe, supportive, and challenging learning environment where every student can thrive—academically, socially, and emotionally, and where they will continue to become part of something bigger--The Spartan Family.
Junior high is a time of tremendous growth, exploration, and discovery. Our dedicated teachers and staff work hard to ensure that each student feels valued and inspired to reach their full potential. Whether through academics, athletics, the arts, or extracurricular clubs and programs, we strive to provide opportunities that help students build confidence and develop the skills they need for success in high school and beyond.
We believe that strong partnerships between school, home, and community are key to student success. I encourage you to stay connected through our website, newsletters, parent meetings, and events. Your involvement and support make a big difference.
