Mr. Carnevale’s 8th grade history students at Glenwood Junior High took learning beyond the classroom with a county-wide scavenger hunt!
With the help of parents, students traveled all over Mahoning County—not just Boardman—to find and photograph Ohio Historical Markers, those familiar brown signs that highlight important people, places, and events in our state’s history.
What made it even more meaningful? Many students said they noticed these markers for the very first time…even at places they pass every day.
A great way to bring history to life and see our community through a new lens!
